Default Help with idle down surge please

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble with an idle down surge and ocasional stall. Its a LQ4 with a magnacharger, 224/230* .569/.578" 114+4 cam, 9 1/2" 2700 stall. Can someone review the log and tune for me and give me some insight? I have tuned my RAF and tried zeroing out the cracker and follower, but it did not help, just made it die everytime.

The log is a startup (which could be improved if anyone feels peachy) and a single rev in park, in which the engine stalled.

After the log I went in and zeroed the cracker and follower again, opened TB up 2% TPS with the set screw and went from 14 to 20 g/sec in the IAC park position airflow. It eliminated the surge, but still stalls coming down to idle.

Thanks in advance guys, I would really love to get the car at least drivable so i can tune the VE.

errr, who told you to do that? Search for a thread by krambo, he did an excellent write up on idle tuning, it really helped me.

I looked at you log and tune. Realistically you should be shooting for a 850 idle when warm with that cam. Also set all you idle spark park/drive to 28 degrees for that cam, also set the same area in you main spark table to the same. Adjust your raf table up a little (+2) in the idle areas, and last add about 6% to the ve table 400-1000. Adjust throttle cracker to 8mph and 6mph. That should get this driveable to set your ve properly. good luck and keep posted.
