Going lean at WOT

I'm not even going to pretend like I know what I'm doing, but my truck is going lean (as much as 12.3x above 5500 rpm) and I'm just looking to get that in check for the time being, 11.8 range. I've got no KR with 16*. I just don't feel to safe leaning out that much in boost, I just don't know what I should adjust to get it under control.

I'm using HPTuners.

Fuel Control, PE Enrichment. Higher # = richer. Scheme is 14.7/1.3(#'s in table) = 11.3 AFR Commanded.

SD or MAF. Custom OS or stock OS. 1bar or 2bar.

MAF
It's been tuned, so custom I guess, not sure what you're asking, sorry
1 Bar

So right now, the cells in that table are set to 1.221 from 3200 and up... so that's commanding 12.0 AFR? I'm thinking I should ramp that up to about 1.25 (11.76) by about 4000 rpm. What ya think?

Since your using the Maf,you should adjust the maf calibration(airflow vs frequency),at those cells that would be in that RPM range. You'll have to log to find out which ones to change.
Or you may be maxing out the maf.

12.3 LMAO.. lean is 16.0 Hmmm i been there tooo, lucky she didnt pop.. Hope you get it worked out, no doubt the guys will fix ya up.. I am not a tuning guru

Just lower your PE based on what KY said above. That should get you in a safer zone until you can fine tune everything else. Since you are using HP tuners I dont think you'll get a ton of help here, but what I would do is dump a bunch of fuel at WOT so that it's really safe and then tune the VE table using your wideband to get your desired AFR.

That's what I did, thanks KY, I'm at 11.9 now and one more tweak will have it at 11.8.... funny thing is that this last run I had 3* of KR, :( It was just at the end of the run at about 103 mph. Meth is on the list, should take care of that.. and then some. Thanks again.

Not maxing out the Maf yet, but pretty close at the top of 1st and 2nd. I'll look at the calibration and see if I can figure anything out. Thanks
