Default e-fan harness

It's cold, and I'm bored and want to do something to my truck.

I have a 99 with an 02 pcm in it. I have called bb, about their 2 pin efan harness, and they said it wouldn't work in my truck. I have hptuners, and there are options to turn on fans, and control them. Can I re-wire my nelson harness to control the efans with the pcm, and actually control them, or do I need them hooked to the ac wire.

I'm pretty sure I've seen your write up a year or 2 ago, but forgot who did it ,and couldn't find it yesterday. I will search again now that I know it was you.

On OBS trucks, can the PCM be used to activate the fans when the AC is on? Is that what pin 33 is for? I have the one fan tapped into the AC clutch signal right now (Nelson harness).

If you have a harness set up to tap into the AC clutch wire you have to change the polarity on the relay signal to hook it to the PCM.

#GM 14-9.5
I ordered one of these covers from blownchevy, and picked up the u-joint last week, and I've got new rotors in the garage. A couple of my buddies are itching to work on something since it's been cold, so it's going in soon.

I understand the diagrams, but the only one I can find is the one that hooks to the ac. I know I have seen one that has 2 connections to the pcm instead.
