Default efan issue

Heres the situation. Ive had a nelsons efan harness for over a decade. A relay had a slight melt down and damaged the socket. So I noticed ls1fans.com harness was more heavy duty. I purchased it and the reduced pulley and the 2 gauge cable. Wired it the same as the old one. pin 42 and 33 I think. power and ground. plugged the ecm back and battery and the one fans comes on with the truck off. triple checked the wiring and everything is correct. And now my truck will start but wont idle. When I checked continuity on one fan and installed the relay with the fuses removed I had continuity. I switched relays and the same happened. Im not sure but I dont think this is suppose to happen. perhaps the relay sockets are wired incorrectly. maybe. what do you guys think.. Im stuck

Sounds like something isn't wired correctly. Id contact LS1fans and tell them what's going on, it may be a defective harness.
You should just get an OEM harness pulled from a 05-06 NBS truck. There's a few people who sell them on here, myself included.
