Does injector change require retune?
I have a 2003 LQ9 6.0 and read the stock injectors are really too small, so I am thinking of stepping up to 42# injectors ...... will I need to retune my truck?

Where do I put the data .... one place, or several.
Should I replace my injectors, or just be happy until I do exhaust and cam?
I see injectors for sale all the time out of those blower kits that people don't use because they want bigger ..... should I avoid those for sure?
I guess I need to hurry up and learn how to tune!!!!!

Injector flow, short pulse adder, offset vs volts etc etc, those are tables you change with the data given.
If the truck is stock, the injectors are fine as they support stock 6.0 power outputs. When you jump over to exhaust and a cam, then upgrade them. If you want injectors that are drop and go injectors with data you can pull from a stock vehicle, go with 8.1 Vortec injectors. They are rated at 31lb/hr compared to the 25lb/hr you have now. They are large enough to give you the headroom you need.
Everything still has to be tuned. From changing the injector data then to fully re-calibrating the MAF curve, the VE table and adjusting other odds and ends as required.

Will buying a wideband help me tune it, or will it complicate things?
I am 60 and must be stupid because I haven't been able to grasp this tuning stuff yet.
I am also a broke tightwad and don't want to pay $500 and up for tuning school .... what do you suggest, sell my HP Pro and pay somebody to dyno tune my tuck, or is there a tuner somewhere that will charge a fair price to help me with my tune?
Before I bought the HP Tuner I had several offers for a mail order tune ..... whould that be an option with a cam, exhaust and injector upgrade?
