Cruise control not operational

Anyone have any input on where to start to look. Besides checking the fuse.
I get nothing. I checked the wiring around the cruise modual which I'm assuming is just a servo motor that is mounted on the driver side of firwall. Unplugged, and plugged back in. Nothing. Fuse was fine as well. Are there any relays? Is this common? Like maybe the switch on the stick? Or the modual on firewall. Thanks for any input.

Just something to think about. I had that same truck come in, the customer told me the trans didn't feel right and the cruise did not work. I started to look at it and the first place to go is common things. Brake switch, tested it. It was fine then just started looking around and on that wiring harness for that switch, a little ways up it was burnt up. Replace that wiring section and converter locked up and cruise worked. Food for thought.

Thought I might update just in case someone with same issue. Found a brand new multifunction CC/Turnsignal/hazard/wiper stalk on Ebay for $60. Normally $180. Install was a PITA. But it fixed the cruisecontrol. All is well. Worth the $60 and 2 1/2 hrs labor to me any way.
