Pretty sure I found the problem now. Sorry I didn't post up the HPT file earlier. Your cat light off is taking the idle in park timing and multiplying it by 2.5 and thus making it 60 deg of timing at cranking. Zero the table out and you'll be fine. Or look at what I did to this tune. Reflash your PCM with the one I attached and it should fix it. Sorry I didn't catch the fact in the first post it was 62 deg of total timing. I swore I never saw that when you originally posted this. Reflash PCM with this tune and report back in the morning. PM me with a phone number if you need me to explain.

I am running e85 now so once this tank is empty if i don't figure it out by then i am going to switch back to gas and try that again. it can sit for hours when its warm enough outside and it will be fine. i let it sit in the shop at work for about 5 hrs last night and it started fine, only has problems when the motor get below probably 45-50 degrees. Also is that amount of timing correct? i will post a log when i get a chance.

No, it "grunts" when he goes to start it and the ECT is around 50 deg along with the IAT's. Like having a distributor too far advanced. After warmup it goes away.

no, i scaled the injectors down by the percent that the difference between the stoich ratio of gas vs e85 is, seems to run good, trims are same as with gas and wb shows 12.8 WOT but im not an expert, if you are willing to share something im missing, that would be cool!

OK, but just for my info, is it supposed to be that far open (21 degrees) when cranking and on startup?
