Default Converter not locking

I've heard talk about having to "force" a Circle D converter to lock up via tuning, is this true? If so, can someone elaborate on this a bit? Thanks

It's usually a good idea to force the converter to either lock or unlock via the TCC PWM table. This is accomplished by increasing the min table, and maxing out the max table.

Interesting. So, how much should I increase the min table...? 5%ish?
