Default Computer Problem

Ok, here is the deal. I have a 99 chevy silverado with the 5.3L engine. The head lights, tail and parking lights turn on auto. when it gets dark. But in the past week they have started staying on all the time, Every time the key is turned the lights come on. Is there a code or something that i can put in to disable the auto. turn on when it gets dark and just control it with the switch. Thanks..

Yeah, it is clear, i never have anything on the dash. I have tried disconnecting the battery and it does not work. Is there anyway to disconnect the sensor or something

Same thing just happened with the day/night mirror on our 04 Trailblazer. Thought something was messed up until one day I looked back as I was walking away from the vehicle. Airport valet had hung a tag on the back of the rearview mirror that you couldn't see from inside the vehicle. It was blocking a sensor. Problem solved. We also have the round sensor on the dash for the lights.
