Code P0315 after Wait4Me Tune

I just installed a Wait4Me Tune about 400 miles ago and right from the beginning I have had the SES light on. I checked it with an Auto X-Ray Scanner yesterday and the P0315 (crank sensor relearn) code came up. My truck is still under warranty. If I were to bring it to the dealer to get the SES looked at and corrected would it affect the tune at all? I am hoping to get this done for nothing as it still is under 36000 miles or 3 years.

No the re-learn will not affect the tune at all, but I dont know if the tune will affect your dealer warranty, some mods will deleate your warranty. So your best bet will be to take it a local diagnostic shop and pay them 20.00 to relearn the crank only takes 5 mins. Unless you find out if a tune will affect your warranty. hate to see you blow it on a silly little thing. good luck

I did mine at the dealer, I paid $82 for it though and my truck has only 4200 miles. I didnt wanna mess with the warranty and just to keep them from asking questions, I told them that I had the "HPP3" installed at the dealer I bought it at.

I had a dealer do my crank relearn, but I'm waaaay out of warranty. You're better off having a local shop with the right scan tool do it since you have the warranty to worry about.

yeah dealerships are stealerships and can be a bitch if they want to.
