Default CEL W/ Blackbear tune

Maybe someone can help out before I email Justin at Blackbear. I have a Blackbear tuned ECU in my 04 Tahoe and the CEL has come on. I have no idea why it would come on.

Any suggestions or should I just get a hold of Justin?

Thanks

Jeff K.

Get the codes read with a code reader... see what it is and go from there.

I tried getting the codes and my Snap-on scan tool can't communicate with the Blackbear ECU. I know the scan tool is working because I tried on my other car and it works fine.

Check your Cig Lighter Fuse under the hood..

Did the OBDII port power up your scanner?

The scanner has its own power supply so I will check the fuse on my lunch break and let you know what I find out.

Thanks

Let us know what the code is when you read it.

I must have something wrong with the lighter itself. I went to put a new fuse in and it blew as soon as it touched the fuse box. Hopefully I will have time to take the lighter apart tonight.
