Default C5 DBW pedal with 05 truck ECM/TAC/TB?

Working on my current LS swap. Nothing fancy, keeping things fairly stock. My donor is a 2005 GMC Yukon XL with a 5.3L and 2WD 4L60e and has a DBW throttle body. I planned on keeping the stock intake, ECU, TAC module, etc for simplicity. Holley sells a DBW pedal mount bracket, but states it’s only for the C6 pedal, which I know is not compatible with my donor setup. The C5 pedal looks like it will bolt up the same as the C6, but I’m getting conflicting reports on whether the C5 pedal will play nice with the truck throttle body, ECU, and TAC - some say they’ve successfully done it, others claim it doesn’t work. I’ve also seen suggestions of moving the truck APP sensor over to the C5 pedal, but no reports of if that’s a successful possibility as well.

Has anyone done this before?

I have no idea what you are trying to accomplish here. Are you trying to run a Holley EFI system or…?
What vehicle is this going into?
Why not just use the Yukon pedal and fab something or have someone fab something for you?

No, trying to run all stock components. Reusing everything from the 2005 donor vehicle - ECM, TAC module, DBW throttle body. The truck pedal will not physically fit and I do not want to modify it to fit, I want a direct bolt on, off the shelf replaceable part. C5 Corvette pedal will bolt on and fits but I cannot find any information on if it will work with the truck ECM/TAC/TB or what wiring changes need to be made, or if I can simply swap the truck APP sensor onto the C5 pedal and call it a day.

You may have good luck answering this question on LS1Tech.

85 Cutlass, and yes I’ve already asked there. Seems like the DBW knowledge has severely tapered off there.

Looks like the C5 pedal sensor is the same style as my Express van that has the older 2000-2002 TAC module on it connected to the P59 running it. That early APP sensor was actually a 6.5L diesel part first. The Vette one has the same pinout just the connector faces a different direction. The early trucks including all 8100s with DBW used the older style pedal sensor like the C5 Vette used.
