Looking to see who is interested in getting together in the New Orleans, LA area in early-March for a in-person Black Bear Performance custom tune. I have contacted Justin and he will be available for weekend of March 6-8, 2009.

The custom tune is really the way to go. I have debated on the mailorder tune, and would prefer the in-person.

If you or someone you know is interested, post on this forum and i will try to coordinate things.

Follow this thread and other truck forums for more info, and feel free to ask questions.

Justin needs at least 10 people interested to make the trip down here. A $50 deposit is required, prior to him scheduling the trip.

We have 10 interested people so far and 4 deposits!!!

just ordered My black Bear tune today. I live in Alexandria, La., but was not sure I could make the 200. mile trip to N.O. if something changes I may try to make it so He can tune My trannny.

 

$250 for custom tune...using existing PCM/TCM

If you want to keep your existing modules and do the tune on provided PCM/TCMs its an additional $160 & $60.

I cant wait....this is the best bang for your buck for performance enhancement.

 

i would like to hear some feedback on anyone with a 06 silverado 5.3 w/blackbear tuning. I hope its better than my hypertech.

 

it will EASILY blow the hyperjunk out of the water.

Allegedly...the most Hypertechs can modify maybe 5-7 parameters....with the live custom tune, Black Bear tune can modify 50-60 different parameters of the PCM/TCM.

A buddy of mine (with a Hypertech) is ditching his on Ebay and joining us for the Black Bear live group tune....if that tells you anything!!

 

He is touching/monitoring more than that really!
