ABS Light HELP
#1
Alright so the other week I ran through some major puddles I guess you can say, and the abs light came on. I figured it was just water and it would dry up. Weeks later it stayed on then started to continuously go on and off while the beep inside the cab matched it. It seemed every bump I hit triggered the light to go on and off. When I took the sensors out I noticed grease on the tip of the one on the right wheel. After cleaning both sides of the truck the light stayed on and remained on. My foot was no longer being pushed off the pedal like it was previously. That lasted for a week, but now it's back to doing the same beep and pushing my foot off the brake. Any know what's wrong here? Can any give me a good answer as to what this could be? It's rather annoying and frustrating at this point, any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys I had the code ran, and they said it was the wheel speed sensor so I just finished replacing that a few minutes ago. I took it for a test and the light when out, but at slow speeds when I apply the brakes the abs still pushes my foot off the brake. No light is coming on and there is no beep. The replacement part didn't come with any of those 'soda can like' washers that were already on there from the beginning, so I reused mine. Could that be the problem? Is it giving it a false reading or something? The fluid is good and the brakes were bled.
Thanks for the help

To properly bleed the brakes GM recommends activating the ABS with a scan tool. Its called the automated bleed procedure. This can only be done with the GM scan tools or an equivalent High end scan tool. The tire size must also be correct in the calibration files for the abs to function properly.
Also make sure all your tires are the same brand, the same size with equal wear, and equally inflated at all four corners.

Most likely this is related to the EBCM and the tire size calibration. The tire calibration can be changed with a tech 2. Changing it with tuning software will change it in the ECU.
