I think it might be that I have TCC apply 4th set to 42mph and release set to 41mph

then

TCC apply 5th set to 45mph and release 40mph. Which is lower then my release point in fourth and I'm confusing the computer. Any thoughts????

You are not confusing your computer, but I would probably lower your 4th disengage speed. 1 mph is not enough, it is going to lock and unlock anytime you are between 41-42 mph. I usually add 4-5mph after the upshift at a given tps percentage so there is not a shift and then immediately a lock up afterwards. Same thing with unlocking and downshifting.

So what I did was set it back to stock setting 4th through 6th and left 1,2 and 3 disabled and It is much better. What got me confused is when 2xLS1 said the minim lock up for 4th was was 40 mph. when factory lock up is 25 mph (I think I'm not in front of my tune right now)

I ended up setting everything up to high, So now that I got it driving better I'm going to go back and do what your talking about.

So if Normal shift timing 3>4 is 31 mph at 25% throttle my torque converter normal Apply for 4th should be around 35 mph????? Then release should be 31 mph

Yes on the upshits and lock.

No on the release. You want the converter to unlock prior to the downshift from 4 to 3. So if your 4/3 downshift is 25, I would add 5 to that and make it 30 mph. Unlocks first and then downshifts if the speed is met. If the converter unlocks first, you can take advantage of the torque multiplication of the converter before a downshift happens.

I'm still having some 100-200 rpm surge anywhere in-between 35 mph to 45 mph.

I adjusted the table for AC off in 4th 5th and 6th to be all 0 on the lower line then the next line up. I'm thinking I should just zero out this table now.

Then I added 20% to the TCC Pressure>Apply Ramp

I also read I should have the Use DoD slip disabled since I have my AFM tuned out.

here is the log before the last adjustment and the latest tune. I'm going to go back and take 20% out of that Apply Ramp table because it's worse now

here is the latest log and tune

Here's the last log and tune with zeroing out AC off 1th through 6th. and the DoD tables. It did nothing if not made it worse.

At this point I'm ready to set the trans back to stock and adjust for tire size the start all over again.
