Crap!!! The version I have installed up at work is all screwed up for some reason it exaggerates all the numbers... I am on my laptop now and the numbers look much better/different...

Taking another look, it seems that your WOT 1->2 shift parameters are less than your 2->1 shift parameters. I believe this confusses the computer/tranny...

Attached is what your currently looks like...

LOL you and justin are on it now.

btw...I take back my zero'ing WOT shift speed comments. Justin has again reminded me of "error-ed" ways. There is no WOT downshift speed setting so it wouldn't help matters.

Sorry I did not notice he posted the tune... Looking at your tune your Part-Throttle shift MPH is at 56 in the last two cells (93.8% and 100%).. Given your tire size (31.86) and Gears (4.10), so that translates into 56MPH @ 6000RPM... IMO this is why your hitting the rev limiter.... Lower the last to cells in the part Throttle table by ~5 MPH, then you should be good to go!

Edit: Sorry about this, but the new version 7.5? converted all the numbers wrong when I installed the software up at work....

So this info is no good anymore? (due to your computer giving you wrong values) I cant see my tune at the moment. I dont have EFI on this PC.

Couple of things I see here, although not necessarily the cause of your problem.

2-1 downshift speed is higher than upshift speed. Upshift speed should always be higher, or the shift will not be commanded until after the downshift speed has been met as well.

Might try setting D0913 to 35-37mph, see if that has any effect.

Thanks Justin. I will look at this.
I thought BlackGMC had nailed. I was hoping....:gruffy:

Partly, the numbers in the tables I was referencing were wrong but the calculation for you shift point was correct. I have attached a spreadsheet that calculates your MPH vs RPM vs Gear for both the 60 and 80 trannies... I use it for calculating my shift points, hopefully you have excel, if not I will post up a pic of the numbers...

Cool. Thanks. I have Excel. What table in EFI were you pulling values from for that calc?

The only values needed for that spreadsheet were your Rearend gear ratio and tire size which is located under the Speedometer section, then click the Speedo Calculator button, the spreadsheet does the rest.... I all ready had all the gear ratio stuff, but they are located in D1201-5..
