3 bar DBW PCM '06 silverado?
What PCM are people using for 3 bar and DBW? I need one that will work in my 2006 silverado. My P59 PCM can only do 2 bar.

That’s odd. I have two p59’s and both with read 3 bar. THE resolution sucks but....

Nope. There is no way to get better resolution on the 3 bar with those computers.
If push come to shove you'll just have to make sure the last row of the VE table is where you need it so fueling is correct once it goes over 210kpa. |
There is a way you can, maybe. Apparently there is a way if you use efilive and hpt combined. I am trying to figure it out, I’ve heard it’s been done.

I was checking that out last night. Adding a second ve table but it still seems experimental. Looks like 15 psi and a shot of nitrous is going to be safer than a sketchy 3 bar ve table. :D

Yea I wish there was a way to make it happen... From what I have seen there is a good answer for the older PCM's but not the P59.

My tuner is going to try adding a second table from efilive with hptuners. Whether it works or not, I still gotta pay $125 for the efilive license fee...

Go figure, efilive doesn't have a cos for my shit. I guess the are no dbw, p59 4l80e vehicles with high resolution ve tables out there.
Here is the email I got EFIlive doesn't have a COS for your OS. Figures lol. I spent some time trying to find an upgrade OS to start with, and didn't find any 4L80 files compatible. If you want to spend some time researching go ahead. I'll give you a few hours before I put it back the way it was and start on it. It needs to be P59 controller, DBW, 4L80e trans segment. |
Can you use an older style P59 PCM with better resolution and 3 bar capability and swap out the TAC module?
