What tuners offer a tune for the 2017-2018 8 speed transmissions. I am not opposed to having the ECM unlocked by HPT but have heard some tuners have a work around without sending the ECM out.
If I do have the ECM unlocked via HPT who is a good HPT tuner that has experience with the 8 speeds?

i have yet to see anyone unlock the TCM without having HP Tuners do it first.

I am interested in buying a 2nd TCM, just so I do not have any down time while I send my TCM to HP tuners.

Tim Haines (THTP) that lives in Corpus Christi Texas (think that’s how you spell it) is an awesome DI engine and trans tuner. He’s the one that did mine and it’s awesome! It’s def worth the cost of sending the TCM off and Tim will remote tune and work with you until it’s exactly how you like it.
