Default 2002 SIerra 6.0 with NW 102mm & Fast intake

What is needed to make this combo work?
I am trying to help a buddy get this to work on his truck. X link was bought as they stated to him it would work, but it was not a plug and play. We then tried a Casper's and that was different too; we re-pinned a part of the Casper's harness per a suggestion to merge the two 5 volts references together and the two grounds together. Immediate REP.
Do you have guys have any suggestion?

Sell the FAST, get a NNBS intake, take the money you made and buy beer/pizza.

The X link is not required, just the conversion harness to adapt the plugs.

For the tune, you will need to adjust the effective area.

Although rare, if it had traction control it could have been a possibility.
Spoolins 2001 RCSB truck had it. He had traction control and auto ride option.
