Default 171/174 lean codes

ive had these issues for 3-4months and still cant find a fix.. Ive tried to check with carb cleaner for leaks and I dont notice any jumps in RPMS anywhere. The truck has new 02 sensors. Ive also notice that the trucks starting to sputter when pulling out of parking lots now. Like its getting way to much fuel or not enough, but then it clears up and runs fine.

Does anyone think this is a MAF issue? Intake seal? Or possible fuel pump/filter? I have a 04 model so the filters in the tank of coarse

let me know any ideas you may have.. this issues really getting annoying to fix

have you tried changing the plugs. i had similar problems with stuttering down low a while back and some new plugs seem to fix the problem.

A messed up MAF can cause these codes so maybe try cleaning it with some MAF cleaner stuff and see if that helps. Also, do you have any exhaust leaks before the O2s? I'd think it's on the intake side somewhere since it's both banks but, you never know.

Get a fuel pressure gauge on it to see if you have low pressure. If so it could be the pump or filter like you mention.

Do this while logging your STFTs and LTFTs... A friend of mine had a vacuum leak similar to what your describing but we were only able to find it by using logging software, the rpms never jumped but the when we sprayed it on the leak the STFTs and LTFTs went crazy....

Look at the o2 sensors while spraying. Intake gaskets leak alot on these. The new style gaskets are green and black. Most of the time it will leak the worst when the truck is cold. Try spraying the carb cleaner right when you start it up.
