Thanks for the info guys! I will be visiting the wreckers as soon as possible to find a harness so I can get them going.

Check either on ebay or google theres a place that sells a bunch of parts just for chevy trucks they can get the factory harnesses and will typically send it labeled, thats where i got my factory fan harness from...

You're talking about just chevy trucks.

I bought a nice Harness from PCM of NC. It wasn't cheap, but it's a really nice piece.
They stand behind there work too! 1999-2002 Full Size Truck Dual Fan Conversion Kit

They're on sale for the holiday so they are priced about the same as everyone else.

If you use the factory fans, you need the GT harness.

Yeah, i just sadly couldnt think of the name at the moment. I just preferred factory fan relay setup because it just snaps in place and is hidden under fuse box cover. All others ive seen you have to find somewhere to mount the relay block and i wanted to try to keep everything as close to factory looking as possible.

The ones on there ebay account are the same way.

Occasionally they extract an original one. But it's part of the head lamp harness.

They used to have the oe on ebay too....

Yes, as I mentioned above, it is part of the OEM head lamp harness. It has to be extracted.

Alot of trucks are wrecked in the front So breaking one down limits them on being able to resell that head lamp harness. Not to mention Some times the harness are damaged extensively when they buy these trucks for parts. ;)

True, not to mention that there were what, 3 years or so the trucks came with that setup before they integrated it into the fuse box in 07 so its probably few and far between they get trucks with those harnesses in.... Just nice when something the factory used is able to be used keeps it looking cleaner IMHO!!
