Default WTB 5.3 silverado open to many options

well a quick little run down, im in the military and ready to make my first loan purchase for a vehicle, ive had several vehicles but always wheel and deal and figure things out and now i kinda want something thats reliable and can do what i want and something thatll last me for awhile and have my toys on the side. the biggest issue is idk if my credit will be good enough to get a loan for much so im kinda just seeing what people have out there right now. once my taxes hit and i can get a few things marked off my credit im gonna call my bank and see what they can do for me.....

That being said im not looking for free rides, nor am i just looking to collect pics. im extremely interested in buying a vehicle just please bear with me while i try and get things processed.....

the criteria i have for a vehicle is:

UNDER 10k price (MUST)
UNDER 100k miles (desire or as close to 100k)
5.3/6.0 (MUST) or maybe a slightly modded 4.8
2 or 4wd doesnt matter
prefer an Ext cab
prefer black or grey or maybe white

im not looking for perfection in a vehicle but i would love something clean, its going to be my daily driver and something to tow my jeep/ camaro with so i dont care about all kinds of mods and **** like that.

Again please dont waste my time and i wont waste yours, if your truck isnt what i want i will respectfully tell you, but please dont put up a 15k truck unless your willing to drop down to 10k. im really hoping someone on here is able to work with me on this and can get some cash in their pocket and i get the vehicle i want. my grandfather had a 05 5.3 ext cab short bed i absolutely loved, intake full exhaust tune 20s 4.11s and a 3200 stall. yes my 68 y/o grandfather at the time. but after being up for 40+ hours i was driving back to va fell asleep behind the wheel and hit a guard rail head on. so i want to get another truck like it.

Thankyou
Dave

i will anwser any and all questions. and also if any financially smart people are out there, i will definately take advice on how to raise credit score, better chances for credit approval for short term or banks who work with *high risk* credit im a low 600 score

Well 4x4 will cost you more 2wd be better and you can get loan pretty easy if your active duty if I was you I would by a 2wd your just gonna have to look and your mileage is gonna play a factor if you were in ks my dad is sellin his 01 for 5k with 105k on it with intake and exhaust stock wheels, just look online for dealerships in your area get a 6k truck and put 2k in it you would have a nice dd with a couple go fast parts
