RSCB 05 Z71 Turbo

Sold!

Ok guys, I'm actually RE-listing my truck, again. I was seeking a trade last summer, but didn't come across one that I thought was fair and frankly I simply wasn't ready to sell it. With the help of PT, the truck recently ran a 10.91 @ 124.65, 1.67 60ft on the Michelin's it daily drives with. Atomic says there's more in it with slicks and I'm sure there is. DA was also highish (1500). I just never bothered investing in slicks as I never wanted to hassle with swapping tires. Hence, 4WD. I also couldn't justify the cost of a set of slicks given this truck has been to the track 3 times in 2 years. I won't go into the details in too much depth since my build thread has a lot of info in it, but yes this has been a very in depth build for me, and my theme has always been street sleeper. I built this truck for the local street races, and they got shut down just as the truck came together, so it has never even seen any street "action" which it was designed for. Changes int he last 6 months include: rear shock relocation with QA1 double adjustable's, brand new 4" mandrel exhaust with Vibrant resonator and j-tube (zero drone), and a new driver's side lower seat cushion,. It's a rust free CA truck. I purchased from original owner who bought from Chevy dealer in town. Tuned by Cunningham, Addiction, and Atomic at various stages of the way. Made 650rwhp/600rwtq on 15lbs. I have put over 15k miles on this build and would drive it anywhere. No whining from the rear end, no noises in the motor, belts don't chirp, it's extremely solid. Runs on E85, but I have a 6psi gasoline base tune which also runs well. The flex fuel sensor is installed and truck could be tuned for flex fuel, but I did not bother since I have E85 up and down the state and I've always used the Dept of Energy iphone app to find E85 stations throughout the state anytime I went on a trip. Truck has ~145k on body and ~15k on build. I have many many many more pics and vids which I can text to whoever is interested. Feel free to text me with questions at 805-765-1218. Not interested in any trades right now. Clean and clear CA title in hand. $18,250 OBO.

Thank you! I'll be at Truck Wars in April if anyone would like to see it in person.

Saturday bump! Price lowered to $18,250 without spare parts.

lxcoupe 04-03-2017 11:52 PM

Last bump before eBay! Truck is rock solid reliable and I would not hesitate for a moment to drive it cross country. I have put over 15,000 miles on this build as my DD for the last 2 years and any kink or bug has been thoroughly ironed out along the way. Ice cold a/c, hot heat, tunes, and 10s at the flick of the push button 4wd switch.

Low boost 10psi run:

Walk around:

Any trades?

lxcoupe 04-08-2017 08:10 PM

Per my ad:

Not interested in any trades right now.
Although I would entertain trades up towards a crew cab 6.2 or V2/3 CTS-V.

My bad. I'm usually pretty good at catching that.

I have purchased 2 different RCSB trucks to do a build like this. I always back out before I get started. In fears of knowing what it will cost!

You have a true turn key build and I'm sure it will make someone very happy!

Does it not have the e85 content gauge anymore? Didn't see it listed. Always thought that was a pretty cool feature.

No not anymore, the cluster acted up where I clearanced the board for the gauge, so I bought a 2500HD cluster with a trans temp gauge. However, ethanol content can be read through HP Tuners since the sensor is wired into the PCM. In the 2 or so years I had the ethanol content sensor staring me in the face wherever I drove, I never saw it vary by more than 5%. It was always 80-85% so I gladly got rid of an extra gauge to get my cluster fully functional. Since I have 2 Aeroforces installed, Aeroforce can reflash the gauge for the ethanol content PID so you don't need to add any wires or anything, you just scroll through the gauge and boom. But like I said I never cared since ethanol content has never varied by more than 5% and I've driven up an down the state from San Francisco to San Diego. Furthermore, even if ethanol content did drop waaaaaaay down to let's say E50, it's been proven that the anti-knock properties of E50 are the same as E85. So the truck would just run richer in the extremely unlikely event that a random tank of E50 found itself into the truck. And anyone with a turbo setup is monitoring their AFR gauge and would see it instantly.

I think that in almost all cases in order to do it right, will cost far more than the truck itself.
