Default FS: 2004 Silverado - blown 427 LSX

Yes really, please dont clog this thread with why's and how come's and speculations, etc, etc, ect... if youre interested and have specific truck questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them, please keep your opinions to yourself about the price, whether you think its too much or too little... if I get asking price or close to it, its sold, if not, I keep it, simple - I owe next to nothing on the truck, maybe 5k, so im not forced to sell it.

For those of you who are curious, here are the reasons -

1. I dont get attached to the things I own, period. (they say the things you own end up owning you, not the case here)

2. I love this truck, it was a blast of a project, unmeasurable amounts of time, effort, and hard work went into this build, something I can never be fully paid for, but the knowledge i learned along the way from boards like this, and many members who became friends is priceless. The journey was great, its time for new projects.

3. It is in the best possible condition to sell at this time, all of the bugs have been worked out, and the minor remaining ones will be finished before the truck sells. I dont want to drive it and abuse it, everything is still new, clean and in awesome condition. - The motor has less than 700 miles on it.

4. Part of the money will finance a new project, those of you who know me, know what it is, but until it is acquired I will keep it quiet for now.

5. I have fully completed all of my responsibilities to all of my sponsors.

Ok onto the truck - most of you know what it is, and instead of going through every last mod, I will break down the very basics...

2004 Silverado extra cab
427 LSX motor - fully forged, ARP fasteners throughout
L92 stage 2.5 heads from WCCH
TVS 2300 over driven cogged SC, 8/10 rib ATI set up
Alkycontrol progressive methanol injection
4l80 fully built transmission from performabuilt and CK performance
Circle D 278mm TC 2800
4" drop kit and full suspension from Belltech
22" Forged wheels from prowheels - nitto 305x40r22 420s
Caltrac suspension bars
Built driveline
Full custom fuel system
One off exhaust built and installed from magnaflow R&D in socal
Dougs stainless cutouts
Dynatech LT headers

Full custom paint - shaved handles (doors and tailgate) remote open, custom ******* remote open tonneau cover, goodmark cowl hood, oem SS front end, billet grills, HIDs top and fogs

Much Much much more... check out my build thread or check out truckin magazine - it was the cover truck for the annual HP edition in dec, or just ask.
EST RHWP 750+

Here are some pics for those who dont know -

Mods please help keep the thread clean!

In closing, the truck has been a great start into what I want to do - build custom cars for people, this was my first test and I think it came out awesome... I will be listing the truck in a few other places, if you know someone interested, pass it along!

A huge thanks to everyone involved, I couldnt have with your help, advice, and knowledge - thanks!!!

Asking price is well below total investment, asking 60k obo.. if it sells in CA it will have a current 2 year smog cert as well.

Serious offers/questions please reply by PMs... thanks!

Dave

It would be cool if a serious collector bought this and left it how it is. GL with the sale.

G/L with the sale man. I hate to see you sell it but I totally understand. If I had the cash it would be sold already.

Again if the right offer comes along I will sell it, if not I will continue to enjoy it!!

It sure does draw a lot of attention when I do drive it, almost too much...
