1993 GMC Typhoon *MODDED*
#1
I am putting my project 1993 GMC Typhoon up for sale. I have no more time to finish it up, so someone here will get a smokin' deal for an almost-finished truck. I am looking for a car that I can just put the key in and drive - no project please!
1993 Ty Green/green w/ 91,000 miles.
ENGINE:
stock block, 0.040" overbore, partial-fill, 4-bolt mains (PRO-GRAM), strap front and rear, deep-cryoed and shot-peened crank, Eagle H-beams with ARP studs, Clevite bearings, ARP studs, MAHLE powerpak pistons and rings (coated top and sides), Melling M55 oil pump w/ ARP driveshaft, Edelbrock carb intake modified for injection use (see attached pics), Wilson Manifolds 100-degree elbow, Wilson Manifolds 80mm throttle body, alkycontrol.com kit, Accel 300+ ignition, ported/polished L35 heads w/ Ferrea intake and exhaust valves(2.02/1.60), custom Comp Cams grind, stock distributor and manifolds, new Edelbrock aluminum water pump and timing set, new hardened pushrods, underdrive pulleys, new alternator, starter, custom fuel rails with 85# injectors. Turbonetics T-72 turbo ceramic coated with ceramic center section, 3" DP and exhaust with Magnaflow muff.
Rossler TH400 full race-prep with TCI 3000-stall converter. Xfer case chain replaced (just because), stock rear-end with all hard parts deep-cryoed. CAL-TARC bars and new Edelbrock IAS shocks all around. Detroit locker and T/A cover.
Aeromotive A-1000 FP, custom-sumped new steel tank,BigStuff3 ECM (not installed yet), e-fans, A2A IC setup (need to finish piping), custom center console for B&M hammer shifter. All new ball joints and torsion bar mounts. Solid motor mounts. Custom HD front shaft and HD rear driveshaft. New Firestone WideOval tires ald 5-spoke rims all around.
Body is in decent shape - a few small dings, but the paint is real nice. It is solid green metallic (Forest Green), and shines up real nice.
There is a crapload more stuff, but I honestly cant remember right now. The engine is out of the truck at the moment, so I can pull the stock wiring harness out and run the new BS3 stuff, but that's where it sits. I am travelling quite heavy now, and no longer have the time to finish up the truck. With this combo, the truck should have no problems hitting 10's and be dead-reliable. I opted for getting the best I could afford, and this truck should be a monster when done. If this is up your alley, PM me with SERIOUS OFFERS OR TRADE. There is a bunch of money invested in everything...with a little time from the new owner, it would make a seriously fast, fun, and reliable truck. What needs to happen is remove the stock wiring harness from the truck, install the BS3 wiring harness and ECM, reinstall engine, and get the BS3 tuned. The motor has already been installed, so the in/out will go much faster - no need to hunt down random fittings to make everything work. The only thing that is different than in the pictures included, is the Greddy e-01 sold, so the LCD screen isnt there, and the head unit is in my daily driver now, so no radio.

I will have to get them up over the weekend. The body has fresh paint 2 years ago - still very shiny. There are a few small dents, but not many - say 8.5 out of 10. Unlike most blazers of this vintage, THERE IS NO RUST. The truck has not seen a winter (so far as I know - I've owned it for 5 year now). Truck has new rubber, new rims (C5-style 5-spoke), new everything. From headlights to taillights. The interior is black leather, and the seats are as supple as ever. The rear bench seat is virtually brand new. Revolution and hellbents10 can vouch for the condition of this truck - they have seen it. If you are interested, drop me a line.
