05 RCSB 4x4 5-speed V8 Silverado
My dad's wanting me to sell his ole' truck. He purchased a new 4 door wrangler at the beginning of the year so this truck has just sat at my house. I've tried to sell it on craigslist but haven't had any luck.
Truck is the work truck model with vinyl flooring and manual windows and door locks. Was purchased in Feb of 05 from the original owner with i think right at 10K miles on it. From feb of 05 until feb of '13 my dad drove it from Greenville SC to Atlanta GA 1-3 times every week. So at LEAST 90% of the 172k miles on the truck are all interstate. It just recently had it's 3rd set of tires EVER put on it. The first 2 sets got over 80K miles a piece put on them, current tires may have 2000 miles at the absolute most. They were put on mid january of 2013. He wanted something that got decent hwy mileage, 4wd, could pull his boat and be capable of light off road conditions for when he went hunting, and this was the perfect truck. Always got 21-22mpg on interstate and pulled the boats with ease. Clutch and trans were replaced at 145k miles. Trans was noisey so he wanted to replace it, still noisey cept when clutch is pressed, so we're looking at throwout bearing. Doesn't effect how it drives what so ever though.
Truck is all stock, cheap lil' intake and dual magnaflow mufflers (exhaust after mufflers needs redone). The truck runs and drives excellent, still has very tight steering and a very good ride for a rcsb 4x4. Hot heat, cold air, no CEL's, nothing.
The body on the truck is in amazing shape, i don't think there's a single ping dent in the entire truck, small dent in front bumper that most wouldn't noticed unless it's pointed out. interior is still in great shape, has camo seat covers. All gauges and lights work as should.
Has a soft bed cover, it's seen better days, but it's still on there.
All in all the truck is still in above average shape for sure. Was drove by a 52-60 year old man and meticulously maintained for the entire time he's had it.
The only pic i have is a crappy cell pic, but if interested just PM your number and i can get you some more. I did a search for trucks identical to this one a few months back, they all came in from $9k-$15K, so i feel $8500 is a fair starting point, but open to serious offers.
