Default working outside in the cold

what do you guys do about working out in the cold on your ****. ive got a week off of work and want to do my trans swap and some other things but its a driveway job and just so damn cold.

tent with heater?

doesnt get to cold in california but a simple sweater, gloves and getting your heartrate up always helps

buy a blue top.and wrap it around ur wheels no buttons dont want to sratch the paint when the wind blows and at least ur out of the wind!!! thats what i do in rhode island..its barabull..i run a bullet karosene heater when it hits 20 or lower to keep my hands moving..

whats a blue top? the ez up tent? i was going to buy my bro a propane heater for xmas. figured id give it to him then steal it hahaha. hands is the problem and my driveway always gets a ton of wind

and f you cali guys. thats jealousy speaking LOL

anything I have to do on the truck just has to wait. I'm thinking February at the earliest. It's at least got to be over 40 degrees. I'm not screwing around with the trans when its 20 degrees outside.

I did an engine swap last week when it was in the 40s mostly. Pair of sweat pants under a pair of carharts, tshirt and sweatshirt, pair of gloves, two pairs of socks and boots and tobogan in the morning. Wasnt too bad.

I was outside in the cold yesterday. It read 22, but felt like 0 with the wind chill. I would wait till spring before I work outside in this stuff.

I wear insulated coveralls. Did an engine swap with the temps in the low to mid 30s. Once I got to work I would get hot and have to unzip the coveralls some to cool down.
