because the lightning doesnt come with a 10 spd transmission, i love how they shift the cars a thousand times in the race scenes, and even on the straight aways, it shows them pushing the gas pedal further down, as if the whole race they have been partial throttle, **** cracks me up everytime

The turbo eclispes are pretty damn slow. They don't even come with an intercooler and run about 9psi stock.....super tiny turbo

I raced one with my '99 bolt on v6 Camaro a while back and we were neck and neck to 100 Mph. He had some stuff done to it but I forget what, he was so surprised when I told him it was a V6, he thought it was an SS LOL.

All turbo Eclipses were intercooled. It's a side mount intercooler located in the passenger side fender area. They're not that fast to start with, but they're also not terribly difficult to make fairly quick.

The car in F&F is a FWD non-turbo version.

BUT it does have a turbo. When they pop the hood to see if he is going to be allowed in the race, I think he says something about a T4 turbo or something.

A t66 turbo with Motec exhaust!! Dont forget he had a cool air intake on that turbo!! Not a bad way to spend 10k.
