mines going to help toward my transmission. but its not much. i got like 600 from fed last year and this year i only get back like 190. managed to gross 30k so i thought that was pretty cool.
My sister owes me like $500 and a friend is supposed to buy my old wheels so that'll help a bit. doubt i'll see anything my sis owes me. i'm cool on that either way.

yeah, i learned long ago that FAMILY is usually the first to default on a loan!!
a built trans looks to be around $1600 or so....hopefully mine will last a little while!

These are my basic deductions so far, still need to do some more research. I started out oweing ~6500 and now I am down to ~3400 (which I have more than enough stored away in my Tax Savings account)
- Sales tax deduction, it is based off your income and tax rate where you live. And major purchases....
- Mortgage interest, Local Property taxes, PMI, some restorations/fixes/upgrades/improvements (insulation, AC, Heat pumps, new windows)
- Vehicle registration fees
- Student loan interest
- 401k contribuitions
- Life insurance premiums
- charitable contributions (Every year go and drop off some clothes at goodwill, easy couple hundred dollar deduction), deductions taken out in my paycheck
- Medical/Dental expenses
- Income tax preperation fees (if you bought software to do it or paid someone)
Some other stuff people can deduct
- cleaning of work cloths/uniforms, safety glasses and boots
- union dues
- Expenses (such as fees, dues, and subscriptions) for membership in professional organizations
- Job-search expenses
- Mechanics might be able to deduct tools that you bought to do your job, still researching that one.....
- Washington DC first time home buyer credit...
- Tutition for college
I will post up some more once I find them.......
