Question

So the noise varies with the rate of rotation of the wheels/axles/driveshafts, and not the engine, correct?

if i was to rev my engine up in park or nutrel it wont make the sound, its only when am moving in motion, but if am going like 20 mph it will be clicking, if i was going 20mph and threw it in nutrel and let my truck rolled it will keep making the clicking noise until am come to a complete stop

ok your flexplate is on your motor, so if your moving or not and throw it in neutral, your motor is still moving and therefore if it is the flexplate, it would still be clicking. Normally this would be able to be diagnosed in a parking spot because it should do it there if you rev your engine slowly and then start hearing the click.

Have you looked for rocks in your tires? check around your wheel wells and make sure theres not a twig anywhere. Sometimes its the stupid crap like this that you can over look

Your not listening either. He was telling you that it's NOT your flexplate. He didn't say that's what it is. He was stating when the flexplate would do it and ruling it out. Just because he talked about it doesn't mean he was saying that is the problem.

My guess is wheel bearing. My front left wheel bearing would click doing about 20 and it was driving me bonkers. Took it to the dealer to get it replaced under warranty and they said it was fine but had approval to change it if I wanted them to. Of course I wanted them to because I KNEW that's what it was because I'M the one that drives it every day.
Changed the wheel bearing and never heard the clicking again.

I would also like to ask that you take the time to read the few little words that are underneath a section's title. This will help you properly place your questions so they can later be found in a search from people with the same problem.

For instance. Under the words TRUCK STOP is "General Chat area". General Chat is just chat about off topic stuff that really isn't related to what this site's purpose is.

Under the words "GM General Discussion" is "Safety | Setups | References | General Questions". The General Questions would mean you have an issue that doesn't really fall into any of the other categories such as engine or drivetrain. Or if you don't really know what's causing the problem it would be a good place to ask.

Keeping the site organized makes it easier for people to assist you and to find your posts later. If someone is really good with Drivetrain they may check the Drivetrain section a lot and if you don't post your question there, they may not be able to help you unless they just stumble across it while browsing other sections or using "New Posts" at the top.
