Default Scammers are at it again

here's another paypal scam

They ask to have a "request" sent to them with your info
They'll pay for the shipping, and pickup

"shipper" arrives to pick up your "product" and takes off

a claim is placed on your accout, for no goods recieved

you're asked for a tracking number that you can't produce

They get refunded your money and you're out with whatever you let their "shipper" take

Here's an email that I got recently on my 4 wheeler that I have for sale. The request came from two different email addresses.

__________________________________________________ _____________
Sorry for the late response,am ok with the asking price.due to
the nature of my job and location,i will not be able to come for
inspection because i work long hours everyday,i have gone through your
advertisement and i am satisfied with it.i will be paying you via the
fastest and secure way to pay online(PayPal).

I have a private courier agent that will come for the pick up after
the payment have been made. You can now send me your PayPal email so i
can pay in right away and also include your address in your reply. If
you don't have a paypal account, you can easily set up one.log on to
http://www.paypal.com/ and sign up. its very easy.

Send your paypal money request to rebeccaleighpalmer@gmail.com

Hope to hear from you soon..

Thanks

I can smell a scammer a mile away just by the way they word their responses. Nobody says "I'm ok with your asking price" or "I read through your advertisement",I delete those emails before even opening it.

That and any reference to "your item"... if they never address what it is specifically, then they are copying and pasting their email into it or using a bot to mass email ads.

Yeah, I sell a lot of our crap on Craigslist and whenever the price get around $100 or more, the scammers start up. Most of the time you can tell it's a bot. But my converter was just on there and I got a scammer, so I responded with a real long email, being all sarcastic... It sold in the next few days so I took the listing down but the scammers kept on coming, a different address everyday, trying to get me to click on **** links.. I think I made one of them mad and he told all his buddies.

This guy still wants me to Paypal him, even after I said I only want in-person cash in-hand. This is for my cam& springs for $400..

you don't have a paypal account It is easy to get an account, just go
to www.paypal.com , all they need from you is a valid bank account it
takes less than 3-4min to register, its reliable and secure to send
and receive money online. Please bear with me as i am willing to buy.
Thanks for your understanding
