Duh, that's elementary stuff...and today's brake cleaners aren't nearly as potent as they were 10 years ago. I've heard many stories of guys setting themselves on fire using heat, welders, or torches and non-ventilated areas, where they have 5 gallon gas cans, brake cleaners, carb cleaners, etc. Gotta be careful.

Damn my friends own a exhaust shop and thats all they use to clean their parts.They buy brake cleaner probably every month by the box.I will definatly let them know about this.

Phosgene... that's one of the gases they used in world war I that was so terrible it lead to a ban on chemical weapons. It was considered the most lethal because it didn't cause coughing and choking (as did chlorine gas) and didn't cause instant skin blistering (as did mustard gas) so more soldiers inhaled it more deeply (and then died 48 hours later)...
