well, I got lucky. I muscled the wrench a bit and was able to change the orientation of the head enough to where I could switch it to forward rotation with a small screwdriver.

Also got my rearend fixed. When I installed the billet 1350 yoke I didn't quite get enough pinion preload and had a whine on decel. Also had oil leaking past the pinion splines as I used rtv originally. This time a healthy dose of permatex thread sealant and 1/8 turn tighter on the pinion nut. Quiet rearend and no leak now.

Put ebrakes back on the truck and got tired of fiddling with the adjustment, as this requires pulling the calipers and rotors off. With the pedal all the way down it holds the truck in drive, all that's needed for inspection. But if I really used it, I would tighten them up some more.

Finally, this truck is so f*cking SLOW without the turbo LOL. One of the things I was surprised to learn is that even without positive pressure, the turbo really did make a big difference in part throttle power. This truck would make a GREAT donor vehicle for a turbo race truck in the future: boost ready LQ9, built billet 4l80e, 1 ton bulletproof driveshaft with billet yokes on both sides, 10b with OE 4.10s and trutrac (absolutely no abnormal wear when I pulled the cover off after numerous 10-11 second track runs), caltracs.

Negative ghostrider.

Next one is going to be something with a removeable roof that can run 10s from the factory with a warranty
