A company out of Mexico City, was being pushed out by the cartel, and they came here to look at this building. Something like 6000 ( total in all families) would relocate to our small town.
The realtor didn't want to bring them here until around May for weather. They knew if they were here in Oklahoma in Dec, they would hate the cold...so they came in May. They then found out Mercruiser wasn't leaving for another year, and they didn't want to wait.
Rumor is they bought a plant in Canada, and plan to move all 6000 there...imagine their suprise come December.

 

6000! If they cant take the cold in OK. how the heck are they gonna survive in canada?!? The system is SO screwed up! They can come over here and get everything handed to them for a little of nothing, where the working man has to shell out cash for everything (health care, taxes, renting or buying a house,,, etc.) Shouldnt it be the other way around? I mean hell WE are the US citizens. I come from a family of workers that worked for everything they have, nothing came easy. It burns me up to see a bunch of people at the grocery store using their food stamps to load baskets full of junkfood and sodas for their 9 kids, then go out side to a damn escalade on 24s. These people are well qualified to work, but instead they abuse the wellfare system. I dont know about you guys, but i dont work everyday so someone else can e lazy and lay-up inside the house all day everyday. I dont mind helping someone, just not someone who dosent want to help themselves.

Just FYI You do not need to be a citizen to apply and receive a Texas Drivers License-

 

if they would legalize the illegals, im sure they have no problem having more job opportunities, better wages and paying taxes just like everyone else. gotta remember everyone in this country came from immigrants. to become a resident of USA u have to wait a long long time, so thats why alot of people just cross over illegally... and not to mention the ridiculous fees they charge.... although i dont agree they should be crossing over illegally sometimes they have no choice and risk their lives to make it. alot of them die on the way.

 

I think all of OK new laws are cool save for the first one. I don't understand why it's necessary for people to push their religion on everyone else. Leave the 10 commandments off the Capital steps please.
Other than that, sweet for all the new laws! Hopefully they go into effect!

 

Legalizing the illegals would be an absolutely terrible precedent to set. When would it end? It never would. You would have a constant influx of illegals that it would just be easier to make Mexico a state. There is a process that one must go through in order to become a citizen and that needs to be followed. Who cares if everyone here came from immigrants? They came over the correct way and became citizens.

 

The solution is very simple. Call the Mexican President. Say Hola Amigo. You are now part of the United States . Your states are now the newest entries into state hood. Also Armed troops are coming to clean up the cartels and secure the southern border of the New united states. Welcome to The United States of America. Next Call Afghanistan and Iraq. "Goodbye." Wave the finger and tell em if we have to come back we will be bringing Nukes.
