Default New Crib

I post on here from time to time so I figured i'd post up my new house. It's getting there only been in 4 days so lots to do.

It's 2266 square feet (upper floor has 1 full bath, game room and bedroom), 500 sq feet of garage and a small rear covered deal. Only has 200 amp service so i've got my gas electric welder / genset on order and working on getting the house radio set up. I'm looking at getting a 1080P projector instead of a 60" TV but not sure. Got 5 celing fans to hang and 1 sink basin to install in the garage. All lights are CFLs at 2700K (trying to find the 5000K lights as I think the driveway would look good w/ HID lighting.

The garage door is miami dade standard so it weights a freakin ton. 3/4 hp opener w/ back up battery. It'll open 7 to 8 times on battery only. probably more if you changed out the 100 watt lights w/ CFL.

Side garage is going to house my plasma cutter, welder and work bench etc. I'm building a pad off to the side of the house (behind the 3rd car garage) for storing lawn equipment and the generator/welder and air compressor.

Nice pad man. I thought it was just a garage, that is all you see from the front, lol. What are you welding? I weld a weeee bit myself. I have a Miller Dynasty SD at home to play with (not that I really want to at home after welding all day).

mostly fabbing general stuff, different projects, mud truck frames, hunting buggy chassis, bumpers, anything really (has to be less then 82" high complete). I've got a Trailblazer PRO 350D on order, anything off house current doesn't do it for me. We get a good discount on them so away I went. It sounds like your a welder, i'll have to send you some pics of our fab shop. I'll have a shed built off the back side of the garage and hook it up that way, too much work to roll it out for poweroutages. I kinda like the house, it's suburban heck though but enough eye candy to make it worth it.

I'll get them as I get unpacked. Right now I've got a lot of inside stuff sitting in my 3rd car / shop. once all that's out i'll start bringing in the big guns.
