They are both virtually identical to the current GMT900 sold now...... I see nothing to get excited about with either one. The LSA ( not LS9 as that is from the ZR1 not the Caddy) will never go into a pickup truck.......

Probably the exact same fugly interior as they build now too......

this is the part I really like:

Powertrain: GM is investing heavily in the small-block V-8 (see Corvette). The Silverado and Sierra are expected to get revised versions with direct fuel injection, increased power, and improved fuel economy without changes in displacement. Six-speed transmissions will be standard.

I expect the new trucks to be a full remodel. The picture above is essentially only changing the front end and maybe the wheels.

It's not a real truck without 22's, 3000 lb payload, and room for six fat *****. So, it probably will.

LOOSE 500lbs, not gain. And thats a cheap rendering I could of done on paint, its the current gmt900 with the headlights shopped to look smaller, grille look bigger, and the bumper corners partially cut off. the 2014 is suppose to be a ground up redesign, new frame, and all sheetmetal as well as new engine displacements
