I drink about 2 gal of 2% a week by myself, the wife rarely used to drink it but now that she's pregnant she's been slamming almost as much as me LOL. We're averaging about 4 gal a week around here. It's great for the baby's growth and extra vitamins while she's developing.

I'm actually looking into a dairy farm here locally that delivers just like the good ol days as much as we use, it would be cheaper than buying it at the grocery store, and probably better milk too.

I have dairy allergies, so I can't drink it anymore. I drank well more then the average person growing up.

I love the stuff, and I get my kids to drink it as often as possible. They are healthy kids.

Also these issues can develope over time from lack of or over consumption. I work out with a kid who was scrawny and couldn't put on weight. Some jack off told him to drink a gallon of milk a day. He did it and gained 25 pounds in just 6 weeks. Mostly muscle from working out very hard. The unlucky SOB developed an allergy to it around week 5 and hasn't been able to drink milk since. His body won't process it any more.

I didn't read all of the replies, but from what I learned in a college course, mammals are actually not suppose to consume milk after a certain age (or lack of better term). Humans, mostly Europeans consumed milk as it was one of a few means of liquids during a certain time frame (I can't recall, feel free to research it). That why we have lactose intolerance. Which is usually higher in Asians, which I am married to and who is in fact lactose intolerant. Feel free to research on your own and provide facts if I am wrong.
