Looks like Oklahoma is the place to be.
Forbes did research to see who what cities are least impacted by the current recession the country is heading into. Looks like we came out on top.
Falling unemployment rate, Strong housing market, and plenty of Energy Industries are keeping Oklahoma ahead of the game. That's not even including the fact that we are getting our own NBA team finally. Supposedly we are also supposed to be getting an oil line moved in from Canada that is supposed to help with gas prices. But considering the lack of refineries, I'm not sure that's going to do much good. Now where did I put that turbo kit? http://www.forbes.com/2008/04/29/cit...hisSpeed=20000 |
Any place making power geneartion equipment or things for the oil industry are doing well. AG business is still strong and so is minimng equipment.
For manufacturing that is. |
Oil Industy is strong here:D:D

If the US falls into a recession and we aren't affected much then I think it will even everything out for what happened during the Dust Bowl...
|
Vicious, with all that said, I will still stick to the coastal areas.
