Sounds to me like they still arent sure. Because they couldn't replicate the problem they assumed it wasn't electrical.

it was all from the throttle getting trapped under the floor mat, which was in a previous recall from toyota before everything blew up about the so called"random acceleration"

I was listening to the news this morning and they were trying to say it was faulty electronics due to electromagnetic radiation. I Chuckled.

I will say this, there are a lot of electrical/tuning problems that are hard to replicate. I dont think it was the large cause of the toyota cruise control though but Id bet a couple of them were true problems, but there were a ton of shitty people trying to cash in you can bet.

I don't wear a tin foil hat, but anything is possible. I thought it was interesting that the panel in the congressional hearings had all taken campaign money from the UAW. Toyota plants are non-union, hmm...

If anyone remembers the testimony of the woman with the '06 (i think) lexus that had the "runaway" issue. That same car is still on the road.
