with all those parts in your swelled garage where do you find 3 hrs outta tha day to go play with a welder get those damn parts on tha truck...you dont even know what you are doing to us out here

I've been MIG welding for 4 years, granted all 4 years were in high school, but I made 6 BBQ pitts that were put in auction and sold for 400 bucks, I still wunna learn to TIG weld, I heard its hard as hell since the metal has to be super clean or somethin, wish I could afford a MIG welder, too bad there about 1300 bucks

I have a nice 220v Hobart MIG that does everything I need it to do and then some. $625 delivered. I think TIG's start out around $1200. I'll have one along with a plasma cuter soon.

I was using a 185 Miller yesterday, seemed to work just fine

A nice stick weld is pretty easy. It's just the chipping and slag and extra platter that is messy and ugly and a pain. MIG was one of the best inventions ever.

Yea but nothing can beat a tig weld. (especially when using the "walking the cup" technique)
