im just gonna fight them both, i think total its gonna cost me like $200 which isnt that much be its the point that if this ******* wasnt infront of me it wouldnt have been anything

the points are what im worried about, especially on the careless like you said George

i went to the police station right after it happened and they said it is legal for someone to call in like this. how the **** can that be??? how easy is it for him to just lie ya know

and wat pisses me off the most is he wouldnt have even pulled me over to notice my exhaust and suspension had this guy not said anything, i have no clue what i am even gonna do wit the truck now cause he said if he sees it on the road its getting impounded

wat do you mean dont offer anything? like tell them anything at all or pay the tickets?

he said if the guy doesnt show he will drop the one ticket but apparently when i came around the corner he said i shoulda been further off of this guy... he said i wasnt to close but he thinks i was before he saw me... im like wtf are you even talking about, YOU THINK??? your thinking and this asswipe is gonna cost me money
First: be very calm. It is not the word of a professional (cop) against your's it is the word of another motorist. The police officer can not testify that he "thinks" you were commiting a crime.
Do not tell your side of the story unless asked a direct question and then only say as little to answer as possible. Incriminating yourself is how you will get screwed here. Just deny the charges 100%
It is unlikely the person who reported you will show anyhow as he isn't getting paid (like a cop) to show up, and even if he does you basically, calmly, will just deny what he says. Bring your friend as a witness but again...don't say anything except "not guilty" unless called upon to do so.

I am not a lawyer but you could say I have had some training

Also, the cop did not cite you for your truck, which he coauld have and that would've stuck. He's just BS'ing you to scare you and it's working. Be cool, this is all bs and you will beat it if you don't react poorly.
