ok guys my friend has a 1998 ECSB Ranger 2wd. It has the 4.0L V-6 with a 5speed. Bone stock what you guys think it could muster in the 1/4? We are tryin to guess.. My other friend has a 00 2dr Honda Civic (think its a EX) 1.8L 4banger, automatic.. we have a bet on which can pull it out in the 1320'. What yall think the best times are on these two slow pokes?
Thanks for any input. yea i know we have nothing else to do...

The Ranger will win.
Those 4.0 Rangers are actually pretty quick for a small truck. I don't know what a Ranger runs in the 1/4 mile, but a 2000 Civic coupe with a 1.8/auto runs low 17's stock. I'm sure a 4.0 Ranger is faster than a low 17, LOL.

Hope the ranger guy is quick with the stick though, or hes gonna get smoked by the civic.....best thing to do in the Ranger is to leave it in 4th gear the whole 1/4... and wave past the Honduh around the 60' mark.

(only ran twice) I think the ranger will get the civic.
