I seen a question in Yahoo Answers where the guy is trying to figure out if he has a special edition SSS or not. His has a 4.8 and he can't find a 4.8 option on the net.

I debadged mine, so if I sold it, it would no longer be a Vmax, unless.... read bottom line.
Look how many guys on here put vortec max and SS emblems on their trucks.
Slap a Z71 sticker on as well and make another 1500.00 because it says Z71.
If someone is that overlooking then oh well for them not asking the questions.
It isnt advertised " Vortec Max for sale"
Read the vin plain and simple.

It is misleading sales plain and simple with intent to take advantage of the weak and uneducated, and in my opinion is the most despicable type of crime.
It's one thing to take a $ out from under the nose of a professional, but to steal from the mentally challenged is wrong n......and not fun either. Just my 2 cents.

ok so you might be right, but i still think that him stating that it is a 5.3 multiple times on the ad makes up for the fact that there is a vortec max sticker on it. If the person doesnt realize that a vortec max is not a 5.3, then why would it matter in the first place.

lol, maybe not all......
IDK, I just get pissed off when I see all these TV adds of gold (filled) coins for $20 a pop and Vince with Sham-wow! and all the other BS out there to rob the unwary of their savings, including but not limited to TV evangelists and politicians who talk out the side of their neck.
It is the way it is I guess, my rant over..
