Yes Cody, you're safe until you go down again.

My dad laid his over after 25000 miles of riding without laying one down, actually he had just said something about how long it was since the last time he wrecked a bike, (30 years ago), luckily it was in a parking lot, just from not being ready for the weight of his bike. My mom laid hers over on main street here in town not long after getting her license, another lucky one, only going 5-10 MPH.

[QUOTE=1slow01Z71;4678051]I was just sore more than anything. Unfortunately I was on my way to a bar to meet up with some buddies so I didnt have my jacket or even jeans on since we were going to be outdoors and it was summer time. All I had on was gloves and a helmet. The helmet didnt even hit the ground, what saved my *** was the gloves. I somehow did a push-up and kept the bulk of myself off the asphalt.

Bet that was fun to explain to the responding officer

I don't know about Alabama, but in Missouri you can ride around in a speedo, and t-shirt as long as you have a helmet on.

In Iowa you don't even need the helmet.

Well you made it out alright. I am sure you were sore but it could have been worse.

I have a 15 month old myself. Hence the reason I never bought one. I'll have fun in my 4,500lb pig instead.

You can have a bike & a child. You will teach your son resposibility as he grows up. You have be a little bit more resposibile. Don't drink & ride, & slow down.

You wanna play around, no problem, do it where there isnt innocent people and dont drink. Theres a time and a place. That dude learned a hard lesson unfortunally.
i love that bridge..

No, you dont even have to wear a helmet in TX as long as you have your motorcycle license and have taken the riders safety course.

What was bad for me is that I work outside, it happened in the middle of the summer so my damn jeans would stick when I would sweat at work and rub the **** out of the sore on my knee.

People drive much crazier than they used to, EVERYONE I know who has been riding for a while has been down. I got lucky and dont really want to tempt fate any further. I want to be able to see my son grow up so getting killed by some dumb bitch who is busy texting while she runs my *** over doesnt sound like a good idea.

I know in Ohio you have to wear a helmet untill you get your license. I'm really not fond of scrambling my brain. I'm in MD and you have to wear one. Traffic and roads suck here so it's for the best. I think I've got my bike up to 70. Not that it's fast bike.
