Truck ran just would lose oil pressure at idle. This is a 4.8 with 142k miles. I reused those knock sensors.

Kidding.

Poor thing, no LS engine deserves to be neglected like that.

Thats just insane that motor was prob a fleet truck motor only a 100k on the odometer but the company guys sat in and let it idle for 10000 hours lol. My friend bought a v6 out of a chemical plant truck had 50k on the odometer and was wore slap out. One of the plants I work at only changes the oil i their trucks 1 time a year and the guys may only drive 2 or 3 miles a day but idle for hours. Some plants not nearly as much.

No way in hell I'd buy one of our company trucks. My truck only has 89k on it right now, but I bet over the life of the truck I've averaged 2 hours of idle time a day

The motor in phantoms truck now I pulled out of a guys truck, he said it burned so much oil he added a quart of 15/40 a week cause it burned so much oil. He thought since he kept on adding oil that he didn't need to change it, said it had been a few years since its been changed.
