Being Sick Sucks

That damn hurricane is what kicked up the crap in the air. I've been fighting the sniffles for 3 1/2 wks thinking is was just the allergies.
Now I'm the idiot and my Boss told me to see the Doctor in the morning.
This is going to be interesting when we're allowed back into the home office on Galveston Island.

I know how you feel, been sick almost a week now and cant seem to get enough sleep. Tryed to go back to work yest. and lasted 3 hours. went back to the dr and they told me get more rest and drink oj. WTF I slept for 12+hrs and couldn't make it 3 before I was nodding off at work! Went to a men's health clinic and got some bloodwork done to check for thyroid and testosterone problems. They gave me a testosterone shot and now 10hrs later I feel alot better! Turns out being sick coupled with the lowered testo my body couldn't recover.

It sounds like you have the flu.
If you had bacterial meningitis you would be running a severe fever. Viral meningitis is self-limiting so that's not a concern.
My best advice for you is to get a ton more rest and drink a ton of fluids. Go to the doctor if you develop a persistent fever.
