Default Bachelor Food

What is some good/easy/cheap stuff to cook? Im tired of the frozen dinner **** and eating out. The problem is I can grill anything and it taste damn good but at my new place you cant use anything that uses fire to cook with. Im working on getting an electric pit that you can throw wood chips in the bottom to add a bit of a smoked flavor to it but I need ideas for stuff to cook on the stove and in the oven. I want it to be something I can make and have good leftovers for lunch the next day. Is there a cook book for bachelors or anything? I need to go to Barnes and Nobles

Chicken and beef. Ground beef is pretty cheap and its pretty easy to cook. Chicken isn't quite as cheap, but isn't expensive and isn't near as greasy. Just start throwing stuff in a pan. Whatever looks good to you. Keep trying stuff out. That's what I do.

Wish I could help you out man, but I can't cook for sh*t lol. When I was a bachelor I would eat uncooked cocktail franks wrapped in american cheese for dinner, washed down with a six pack of Bud...when I wasn't eating at the bar or ordering pizza.

Thank God my wife's a good cook

+1
Pan cooking is what i do a lot of too. Toss in some chicken, rice and vegitables, easy.
You can buy these bags of frozen vegitable mixes with seasonings and just add your choice of meat. I like rice-a-roni and box o noodles stuff too. Mac n cheese with hotdogs is always good Heck i like them hungry man dinners too.

Stir Fry, Chili, stuffed peppers, stuffed banana peppers if you like some kick to your food. Any kinda pasta, hell you dont even have to use sauce if you dont want. Take some olive oil and cook some fresh tomato chunks, onion, garlic, green pepper or whatever and put that on top of you pasta ( thats popular in Sicily, thats where I first had it) Most of the stuff I mentioned above is fairly easy and makes for decent left overs, especially the chilli hell it gets better after a day or so.
