Getting your arms cut off may not kill you, however, it does not make you stronger.

Myasthenia gravis does not kill you but it will result in muscle weakness.

Shall I continue?

Winter has set in at Rochester , someone is hunkered down for the long cold one and his mind is reeling in absence of external stimulation.

My sister struggled (and I mean fuggin struggled) with sickle cell anemia her whole life and needed a life saving plasma transfusion at the ripe age of 10. That red bag was full of HIV. She died from horrible complications of the AIDS virus at 17. I learned so much (actually alot later, I was sort of young then too) from her. EVEN IF IT WILL KILL YOU, IT WILL "MORE THAN LIKELY" MAKE YOU STRONGER. She was stronger than anybody I know.

Point of that poster is humor of philosophy not literal terminology Mr. thiems, but if you introduced me to a 1000 people with all ranges of Myasthenia I bet, no no no I know I would find people stronger than most of us here.

Being on muscle relaxer, vicodin, and drinking a guiness is really fun (shoulder surgery is killing me)...I get to remind people that the dictionary has quiet a few definitions for stronger.

Sorry to tell you a sad story in a funny thread, just had to state "another" obvious. I didn't want thiems to have all the fun. :p
