Quite a few of you beating on these poor little motors. I will be joining your ranks here shortly... Lets get a list with some info about your setups and how much abuse they are really taking! I'd like to see how hard and how often you beat the **** out of these stock engines and whether or not you have had any problems.

Mods (cam, heads, bolts/studs, etc) K&N intake, exhaust, tuned
Drivetrain (trans, transfer case, gears): 4L60E, 3.23
Truck weight: 4700-ish
Power adder (TC/SC/N2O) and amount: Soon
HP/TQ & ET/MPH: 320-ish flywheel, 16.0 @ 92.
Currently awaiting my KB kit, going with a Master Power T70 and intercooled. Plan to run E85 and around 10 psi to keep it safe. I'll update this when all this happens.

left the dealership sideways, does regular burnouts, drag strip runs, its ran up to 120+ at least once or twice daily, foot to the floor all the time, hammered on, hauls lumber-firewood-other cars-atvs, been thru mud, etc.
stock 4.8, stock cam, stock trans, upgraded from 3.42s to 3.73s when the center pin broke and destroyed the gears.
Weight is unknown.
only power adders are k&n, pacesetter longtubes, wheatley tune.
hp-tq is unknown, its been as fast as 14.4 on 26" street tires and some weight reduction, 14.6 at 92+ mph consistantly with the 26" tires, those times ran on the 3.42s and open diff.
It has spanked a many hemis, 5.3s, etc on the street. Top end is great in this truck. Cant beat my wifes charger r/t from a stop, but from a 55mph roll it will take it. Unfortunately, the oil pressure has been running on the low end lately and dont know how much longer it will last, but doesnt smoke or miss a beat as of now.
