I would go with the Nissan. Not that anything should break on it any time soon, but if it does the parts will be cheaper. Resale value seems to be a little better as well. If MPG is a factor, you might want to look into that and insurance costs.

My wife's MAX get between 26-28 mpg with a mix of driving, actually as good or better than her old Altima with a four banger!

I like my Nissan, a/c is cold within 2-3 min tops here in 108 degrees

get the festiva. you won't be disappointed. put a little spray on it though for those need for speed days.

I already have a beater. This happens to me my 03 Cavalier. Thanks for your suggestion anyways.
On a serous note, I am really leaning towards Nissan Maxima. It's faster, better resale value and better fuel economy.

as stated above, both cars imo are really nice and you can't go wrong in either choice. however, i agree, resale, and fuel economy would be at the top of my list as well.

I would definately go with the maxima, I like both but the maxima takes my vote.. maximas have a lot more space inside especially in the rear seat....
